Daren Laureano is founder of Southern California Land Use, Inc. He and his team have more than 50 years combined experience in asset redevelopment strategy, government approval, design, construction, and advanced land use planning.  He possesses a unique capability for creation of efficient schedules through a creative approach to increase the velocity of acquisitions, move rapidly through construction and complete occupancy. This unique ability stems from a vast knowledge of complex building types and translates to the field during construction to arm the contracting team with the tools necessary to meet demanding leasing schedules and commitments.

Mr. Laureano founded Southern California Land Use in January 2001 creating and executing complex land use strategies. Prior to founding his business Mr. Laureano worked for 10 years in several prestigious Southern California architecture firms designing buildings & creating permit drawing packages with the related construction drawings. Mr. Laureano holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Southern California.

Terry Winders

Terry Winders is a real estate professional with a background in architecture. 

Mr. Winders has worked in several real estate development companies in Southern California on urban infill multifamily housing and the repositioning of out of state student housing in college towns. Operationally he oversees project schedules, budgetary controls and delivering updates to management and equity partners. 

He has worked with various city manages and planning directors in the cities of LA County and more specifically with Council Districts (11 & 13) where employment and housing are a persistent ballot issue. 

Mr. Winders has worked in architecture in Dublin & London. He holds a degree in Architecture. Before pursuing a Diploma in Real Estate with a concentration in Investment from the University of California Los Angeles.

Andrew Yapp

Andrew Yapp is a real estate professional with a background in architecture and is Senior Forensic Analyst within our system.

Mr. Yapp possesses a unique and skilled sense of design along with being an expert in forensic property records research within any jurisdiction including County and State.  His analysis of both asset and unique jurisdictional incentives has served as the foundation for nearly two million square feet within our deep repositioning system of commercial projects throughout Southern California.  Prior to joining Southern California Land Use in 2011 Mr. Yapp worked in several architecture firms designing and creating construction documents with the related permit sets.

Mr. Yapp holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Southern California.
